Maile was a Partner and VP of Communications at The Workshop Collective for seven years, where she built and managed the public relations division and spearheaded new business development for the company nationwide. Maile served as Senior Account Director at Gordon Reyes & Company, a Miami-based marketing, public affairs, and communications consulting firm. While there, Maile oversaw account services for the firm’s market-leading real estate development practice. Before joining Gordon Reyes, Maile was a Communications Manager at the Miami Art Museum, responsible for planning and executing the museum’s overall institutional positioning, branding, and communications strategy.
In New York, Maile was a Senior Publicist at The Museum of Modern Art for six years, where she carried out tactical elements of publicity campaigns in support of museum exhibitions, programs, and special events. She also played a key role in the strategic publicity campaign for MoMA QNS, the museum’s temporary home in Long Island City, and the new museum on 53rd Street, which reopened in November 2004. Additionally, Maile managed all media efforts for the museum’s restaurants, special events, and fundraisers.
Maile received a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts and English Literature from New York University. She is fluent in Spanish and gets by in Italian, having studied in Florence and worked at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice. A wanderlust at heart, Maile travels the world with her husband, Mark, and wishes to live in a hotel and order room service daily. She is a dedicated yoga student, teacher, and a proud dog mom to Lila The Frenchie.
